Here is an interesting article. Not often do I get on my 'soapbox', but it appears that Symantec has finally reached the place that they have been striving to reach for YEARS... Their products have been more and more ridden with issues over the last several years and they have all but virtually forgotten about the consumer market. Then, earlier this year there was a ROOTKIT discovered in SystemWorks, allegedly. Now, they think that they are going to fix that by committing to the consumer market (see the announcement below). I was a loyal customer for over a decade (until about 3yrs ago), now all I have to say is -- WAY TOO LITTLE, WAY TOO LATE. Maybe a company with an established committment to their customers will buy them and put us all out of THEIR misery.
Symantec's New Target: Consumers
